Its getting very close now. On Thursday, I finished my last ever coursework essay. I realise that I had to qualify the statement somewhat, but its worth pointing out that I only have my thesis to write (only... heh) and an exam to sit (for shitigation). Unfortunately, the essay was a typical law essay rather than something fun (ie policy stuff). It was an analysis of legal relevance and logical relevance as framed by the Australian courts in common law and under the statutory regime. Ergh. Reading High Court judgements is not a way to enjoyably pass time.

Ah well.

Our G5 2.5ghz monster arrived at work this week, accompanied by a 20" cinema display. FAAAST. Projects that were taking Jamie 20 minutes to render on my current machine (a dual 1.4) take 7 minutes to render on the 2.5. Thats MORE than twice as fast. Impressive stuff.

In other news, Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan continues to kick ass. I'm up to Volume 4 and its still a fantastic read.
