Serenity (the Firefly Movie) has been delayed

... by five months. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing. Its release date was original late April, just before the release of that episode three thing. As I wrote in my post on the issue at whedonesque, comparisons to E3 will be inevitable:

"'jees, why didn't they get that serenity guy to write this? y'know, the guy that wrote the movie which no one saw cause it was in a glut of big budget bollocks? the one with the coherent script and the acting. yeah. him. he should've done this movie, even if he doesn't do aliens."
