  • Explosions. Guns. Chicks kicking ass.

    They're marketing it as a action movie, but Firefly [the TV series Serenity was based on] was Joss Whedon's best work and explored his usual themes (family, loyalty, sacrifice) in post-war reconstruction era and did it brilliantly. The movie looks like its going to continue that.

    If you don't dig Joss' style - its certainly not for everyone - than Serenity/Firefly will probably leave you cold (though there are exceptions) but if you do, then it looks like you'll love it.
