complication
I used to think it was because I was an emotional masochist, but now I'm just not sure. So I'm looking for validation / comrades-in-complication here...
Anyone? Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? Sigh.
Ladies and gentleman, that was Stu Willis. He'll be here all week. Round of applause thanks.

I know exactly what you're talking about. One of my psychology teachers in college described the dynamic like this:
"When you're not playing a big enough game, you mess up the one you are playing to give yourself something to do."
Make sense? I have realized that truth of that sentence over and over again in my adulthood.

Guess, I need to find myself a big enough game then.
(It's a good quote)
I also have a habit of assuming things are more complicated than they actually are. Which in turn, makes them more complicated vis a vis the way I interact with them.

Easy as that.
