IntelMacs and Frame Rate Conversion

Ran into some problems dvc-pro-frame-rate-convertering on my Macbook Pro. Turns out there is a 1.1 Frame Rate Convertor on the 5.1 install disks.

Cross posting from the edit-blog, just so this information keeps in the noosphere a bit longer:

He was using an Intel Macbook Pro and after a bit of research I found that there was a new version (v. 1.1.0) that came on the FCP Universal install discs. I had him install that newer version but still no Frame Rate Converter. After much frustration here is what we discovered. The version 1 installer puts a package in the Receipts folder in the system library.

It should be noted that the version that is offered for download from the Panasonic web site is the version 1.0 so if you are on an Intel Mac then looking to your Universal install discs for the right version.

But hey, maybe there will be a Final Cut Pro 6 tomorrow...
