update.
on the upside, i got to play with a SDX-900E -- Panasonic's new DVCPro50 camera with progressive scan, filmlook gamma, and 12bit recording. impressive. very impressive.
on the downside, i am now posting a lot of that footage. long nights, early mornings.
seeing baz luhmann's production of britten's midsummer night's dream tomorrow at the opera house. should be great.
as we speak, some photos are being uploaded to biki.net. this is the beginning of my gallery. many more to sort through, many more to tweak. currently i'm not including EXIF data cause it'll make me look like even more of a wanker. i'm trying to avoid being a measurtabator.
for those who wanna know rough details, the photos are taken on either a Canon 10D with a 100mm macro lens or a 28-135 macro lens, a Nikon 601 with a (busted) 35mm-70mm lens, or a Canon Powershot s45 with whatever lens it has (a 36mm-105mm I think?). points will be given to those people who can correctly guess which photos have been taken with which camera!
all of them have been tweaked in photoshop.
the web pages are generated with iView Multimedia Pro which has become my digital asset management tool.
anyway, go visit my gallery and lemme know what you think.
