Nah, one of my friends is French and she was giving me shit cause I couldn't do the French phlemgy-r sound... in particular, she was giving me shit that I'd never be able to win overa certain french friend of hers with such a shit accent.
So I made her try and say 'th' a lot, and we invented that tongue twister to drive her nuts.
