Sync Your Cine

One of the cool things I've been involved with in the last half-year is beta testing (silghtly) cineSync- a tool for remote collaboration and reviews. Essentially, it allows remote synchronisation and annotation of quicktime files. It sounds simple but its beautifully executed and incredibly useful. Hardened and informed by use on big features by Directors, Producers, VFX Supervisors, and Editors... Yada yada yada.
I ain't their press release, I'm just very proud of the development team for putting together such a useful tool for filmmakers, indie and mainstream alike. Its also got applications for time-based art, architectural previs, TVC production, multimedia, hell, design... whatever. We're only seeing the tip of the iceberg here.

Anyways.

They've finally released version 1.0 on the unsuspecting public. Yay! Go them! Check it out. Tell your friends. Admire my name in the 'About' box. (NB: I did very little other than harass the developers with my whacky ideas for features and forget to lend them my blackmagic card...)
