Vienna

Currently I am standing in a market in central Vienna, using free Internet access provided courtesz of Tele Kom Aus Tria (that is how it is written). Getting a few stares cause I have been here a while as have the other people. Wieners.

(They also have strange toilets here, with a long tongue and a small water bowl... when you flush it washes your poo into the water... strange)

Spent 5 days in Prague, when I originally intended only 3 nights with an early train to Vienna. But the city was just too great. It chokes with human pollution (tourists) but underneath the smog is a great vibe. Disappointed I never found thestudent quarter though. Met a whole bunch of great characters - for e.g. Tony the One Trick Magician - drank too much Bekarovka (sp?) - heard some great jazz - got mistaken for "a handsome czech man!" a number of times (apparently they are rare in the CzR, hence the exclamation mark - enjoyed the coffee which is like an expresso with the texture of turkish coffee - took lots of photographs - saw like 40,000 human skeletons - &c.

There's a Third Man walking tour tomorrow which I'm so doing. Ill be here for another day or two before I go onto Zurich.

Sorry for the silence and everyone who I owe e-mail too - I'm having fun, so I#m not thinking of youse at all. :)
